Fitness Re-Start

Here is my attempt at holding myself accountable for my millionth fitness re-start! I do not know how many times I have told myself, “This is it! This is my fitness re-start!” Then, I go for a day, week, or maybe two if I am lucky, then life gets in the way, and I flop, AGAIN!

This time, I have to do it. I have to re-start. See, one morning a few months ago, I decided to test my luck at the craziness that is RunDisney race sign-up morning! Little did I know, I would get into the first half marathon at Disneyland since 2017. This means, in January 2024, I will be running through Disneyland and hopefully get another glorious picture of me jumping in front of the castle!

I need motivation!

I am going to put some of my goals out there for all to see and read. They might seem small at first, but I have decided small goals are less daunting. AND, maybe, just maybe, I will stick to smaller goals!

  1. Do some type of exercise 3 days a week. This might be a walk, strength training, or yoga.
  2. Do one ride on my Peloton (find me, marsham77) each week. I know I can do at least one!
  3. Do one run a week. If I can’t do this, I have no business trying for a half marathon in January!

Those are them, three small and attainable goals. Let me see how the first month goes!
